Honestyby TelehubbieComment: Oh, that is soooo good. I'd love to meet this guy and shoot him sometime myself (with my camera, that is). Great real life candid. I love the inclusion of the cars zooming by. This shot has such great reality and makes me ask questions of what I see. Perfectly done. |

Boldly going...by bucketComment: Lovely candid study! A very emotive shot, suggesting lots of possible interpretations. I love a photo that makes me stop and ask questions. Yours does!! |

Kjetil Rekdalby terjeComment: GREAT candid looking shot, but the border is waaay overdone, IMO. You'll probably get comments on the apparent on-camera flash too, but I think it works out fine with this particular shot. Very nice. |

Waitingby joaquinComment: Very cute portrait. I probably would have tried a tighter crop, maybe just the face and folded arms over the leg. Nice job with lighting and the black backdrop. |

Reflection of the Rockby prbettsComment: Simply breathtaking. I'm sure you're getting crucified because there's no paper or scissors, but the hell with that. This is a beautifully executed shot and captures both emotional impact and technical detail. Superb. |

Practice has begun..by singsunshineComment: Quite a serious job composing and setting this one up. Great concept. The execution seems to be lacking in punch somehow though. Maybe a closer crop, ignoring the points of the blades and the negative space at the top? I'm not sure. Maybe find a way to avoid the awkward wall-mirror-drape complication in the back?? Great concept but probably could have used some tweaking. Are you getting hammered because of no rocks or paper? Thought so. |

Wrappingsby RolandBComment: Beautiful image, and while I love your "paper" idea, I bet you're getting hammered in the voting because "no rocks or scissors," right. Too bad. This is a wonderful shot. Save this idea for a winter seasonal challenge sometime, and in the meantime, know that somebody in THIS challenge appreciates your vision. 8. |

We Only Like The Blue Onesby ReallyColorBlindComment: Gorgeous color and contrast. A very visually appealing shot. More light on the scissors to make the blue color there pop too, would be my only idea for improvement. Very well done! |

Brand New Fiskarsby TommyMoe21Comment: Fantastic, what appeal from a simple shot of a scissors. It is this kind of photographic vision that keeps me coming back to this site. Your shot makes it worth it to click through dozens of OK photographs just to wait for that moment of brilliance. About the shot, such excellent visual appeal, such sharp lines and contrasting colors. The bottom part of the orange seems a bit off in color, but that might just be the texture of the plastic itself. This image is my first (and maybe only) 10 of the challenge. Hats off to you. |
