Skull Ringby pawdrixComment: While I don't care for the ring, you've created a tremendously appealing photo advertisement. Use of lighting, vignetting, shadows is just excellent. Very well done! |

Little Angelby CorwynComment: She sure is. The softness and tones are outstanding, but I think the shadows on the face are a bit too much. I'm not sure what kind of lighting you were using but there's obviously a powerful overhead providing the majority of the illumination. I envision more of a backlit bright, with soft fills coming from the front/side of the little girl to soften the shadows on her face. |

Failed Artistby DiscraftComment: Wonderful study. Like any good photo, it makes me ask questions: why? what's wrong?, etc. Excellent use of lighting and shadow. Very nice. |

Four Señoritas - Albuquerque NM Tricentennialby jemisonComment: Terribly unfortunate shadows on the faces, and smiles that look sooooo forced. This had the potential to be an incredible picture, but these errors may have been beyond your control. Too bad. A potentially great opportunity. |

America's Finest Sunriseby ScottKComment: The blockiness of the buildings is almost suggestive of the profiles of Stonehenge. It's a very evocative image. Simplicity and elegance. Nice composition. |

Riverbend — April, 2005by Bear_MusicComment: Superb colors and textures. What a nice feel. Too bad the grassy vegetation at the bottom seems crooked, but your horizon was the priority. Something about this image makes me want to come back again and again to identify just what that certain "something" is, so I can make use of it in my own shots. After the challenge, I look forward to seeing anything you may have said about your capture or post-processing. One of my favorites of the challenge. |

Under the rainbowby LalliSigComment: Stunning. Magnificent. The sense of scale provided by the people and bench really makes me want to stop and gaze at everything. Very well composed. |

Natural Beautyby GrigollyComment: Possibly, but the beauty does not emerge from this photo. Shooting an interested shot of a rock is a tough challenge, I admit. Perhaps relying more in dramatic lighting and contrast between light and shadow? This shot contains no immediate draw for the eye, and doesn't have any "wow" factor. 5. |

Balanceby SammieComment: Seems to me an uninteresting shot. Nothing captures my eye and makes me wonder or say "wow." Shooting an interesting shot with rocks as the subject is tough, I know. 5. |
