Wings of Lightby spitz66Comment: An intresting abstract - I like your focus on the shadows and light and the shapes that they made. The muted tones are good and your compsotion is strong with the centering of the light source but the flare from it is a little overexposed. |

Optical fiberby beletteComment: Lovely shot - I like the DOF and how some of the lights are larger than others. The diagonal composition and chaotic look of the points of light make this much more interestesting than a straight on shot. |

Rubbingby joel65203Comment: This is a bad habit I'm guilty of too ... I like the motion blur, which helps support the idea of motion and rubbing. I'd like the hand and eye to be blurred though and the bridge of the nose to be left in focus for that to work for me. The choice of B&W is nice and the skin tones are nicely exposed. |

My Habitby lightpro1Comment: Your use of diffuse lighting is really nice, it helps to bring out the various textures and tones of the cigars and humidor. The mainly centered, straight-on composition is a little uninteresting, but a well-shot entry. |

Little White Liesby tryals15Comment: The composition and concept are very nice here, I like the folds in teh shirt and how they lead the eye back to the subject of the crossed fingers. The photo seems to be oversharpened or just slightly harsh and could use a little bump in the contrast to brighten up the whites. |

I Feel The Need...by MattBComment: I like the idea of this, the motion blur is quite nice, but the overall composition and exposure makes it a little uninteresting. A good topic for habits, as it seems to be a common thing where I live. |

Please, Just This Once?by frychiknComment: A little underexposed but the shot tells a great story - I can see it very clearly. Did you experiment with more extreme angles ... something shot more from a long angle on the table might have been more compelling. |

Nail Bitingby scalvertComment: Nicely shot - well framed, I like the skin tones and though it's slightly overexposed on her cheeks, I dont' mind it because it gives us the bright glint in her eye. It looks like she was having fun, which is sometimes the hardest thing of all to shoot. |

Feeding the Habitby mariomelComment: The choice of a cold colored duotone really sells this as a bitter world of desolation. I like the composition with the figure set far back in the frame and the repetition of the sunlight and shadows with the darkness above (rather forboding). I wish it was just a little crisper so I could make out more details. Excellent, evocative shot. At first I scored it as a six, but I just bumped it up to an eight. |

Gaffiti, Bad habit.by cabaComment: I think the blues you captured and their relationship to the sky is just wonderful - the contrast with the rust really helps to bring it out. I wonder if a more off-center composition with the center column would help provide just a little more visual interest. I think it was a worthy subject for this challenge. |
