I like this take on the challenge, very creative. I would have perhaps made the DOF a little shallower here and tried to get the eye a little more centred. You've done fantastically well with your BG. Nice work and great idea.

Lovely tones and interesting rhthym created here. Nice idea but I'm not so sure about the border. Might lessen the visual impace somewhat but I'm not too fussed about it. Nice to see someone put a little bit of effort into their entry :)

Perhaps a little oversaturated on the actual oranges, so much so that the detail on the lines seperating each segment is lost.

Anyhow, this is a well composed shot, I like how you've made your subject dark and unidentifiable placing most of the attention on the umbrella. I just wish that it wasn't a barbie umbrella ;)

Technically faultless IMO, not much I would have changed here apart from the brand name umbrella.

Awesome shot, possibly would have gone with a shallower DOF if possible. Great rhythm created here and the tones are fantastic. I'm wondering what this would have looked like in colour? I can imagine it being absolutely incredbile in the right conditions, but pretty dull under the wrong ones.
