slice of chickadee wing by annigComment: They are called McChickadees and will be coming to a McDonalds near you soon.
I think the slices are battered & deep fried, but I could be wrong.

Ice and Waveby puzzledComment: I don't have words to describe what I feel looking at this.
It's like a mystical place, sort of in a foreboding locale.
The mix of the green in the foreground makes this shot in my opinion.
Oh - I guess I did have a few words huh.

walk this wayby whiteroomComment: I'm such a dufus - as many times as I have seen this or the thumbnail, it just now hit me with the positioning of the feet being the same.
Now I'mma walk this way -----------------------------------> and go laugh at myself. |

snowy night driveby annigComment: I really like this one.
There is such a cool mood here and like the way the dashboard provides and anchor point for the foreground.
Well I assume it's the dash, could have been a Possum or something. |

Walkiesby MelethiaComment: 134th out of 249 ???
We have come to realize that life is not all about wow. It's about the moments in life, how we see them and how they will be remembered. A scene like this could so easily be overlooked, passed on as just a pigeon standing/walking there, but the way this was captured is nothing short of perfect. Your title couldn't be better too - certainly puts a grin on my face.
The other significance here, is that your image, though only average in numbers score-wise, has more favorites on it than some of the top ten shots in the challenge - that to me is worth 10x a good score, which by the way, I need to click to add to mine now.
I would have been proud to have taken this shot, and would have stood just as proud at the finish line regardless of the populous wow vote.
Well seen. Thanks for sharing this. |

Top Secret by PedroComment: Clever!
Perfect example of why I don't do SP's - who's to compete with this kind of creativity?

Nineczkaby pawdrixComment: I really like the simplicity and reality of this.
One I certainly would have been proud to have entered.
Back to add that after going through this challenge & the results, had to add it as a favorite. One of the best of the challenge in my opinion, and should have finished much higher than it did. Message edited by author 2008-02-13 02:32:49. |
