Entwined with Natureby cheekymunkyComment: I have mixed feelings about the clash of all the color and the piece of jewelry. Nice colors and lay out, but in my opinion, the background is a bit too overpowering / busy. (5) |

Who says girls have all the fun? by snackwellsComment: Very professional in composition and quality.
Lighting is very well done and the text/font is perfect in it's size, style & placement.
Perhaps one of the best in this challenge. (10) |

Tiffany&Co.by vivienComment: A decent composition and tone acheived here. Subtle, soft, filling the frame and well lit. (perhaps a little too tight of a crop, especially at the bottom)
Text/font used doesn't work well here as an advertisement. (5) |

Elegant Vintage Jewelryby ladpupmoeComment: Seems to be 2 focal points in this shot - the light colored broach in the foreground, and the purple ring. The two I think could have been used together, but without another item to compete such as the quartz/stone they are resting on. Specs in background in a member's challenge could have easily been cloned out, but something to pay attention to when shooting (I never seem them either until it's on my monitor) (5) |

Last a Lifetimeby MontereykiddoComment: Nice composition.
Lighting here is very well done in my opinion, with the right side falling off into the shadows. Detail & clarity, as well as natural skin tones a plus. (7) |

New Age Braceletsby WildpurpleComment: Interesting use of the prism, and well-suited for displaying the bracelet. B&W works well with the new age theme here. A little more depth of field would have helped this, not having the natural main focal point out of focus (uppermost ball) (6) |

9 ct Gold Braceletby kirtiebuComment: Looks like someone studied how jewelry is displayed, looking at the cloth and the circular support - nicely done. Focus seems a bit too soft for me, but may be a result of image compression (jpeg artifacts showing) (6) |

L'amour Éternelby fotodudeComment: I think this had a lot of potential.
Something (in my opinion) that may be hurting this shot for me is the limited depth of field. The focus is a bit too soft on the prongs and the jewels, then falls away very rapidly. A little more in focus would make me not have to study it so hard to see what it really is. (5) |

Only the Necessitiesby SnapperLComment: Quite a uniques take on this challenge.
I will think outside the box on this and assume the shells are going to be used towards jewelry (not unusual)
There seems to be a slight imbalance in the focus/where the sharp portions are vs. where the dof falls off. I would expect to see the hands very clear and the shells in the box out of focus. Exposure good and focal point where it works best. (6)

Today, Tomorrow, Forever....by TruegshtComment: Nice composition overall, but seems to be a bit too blurry in the area needing the most clarity - the stones. Perhaps a bit too much Gaussian blur applied? |
