Weathered And Beatenby dpdaveComment: Wonderful! The aged look of the wood and peeling paint gives this a great feel. Textures, colors, and lines are perfect. Exposure is right dead on. I wish those (plastic looking) eyes were not there, but you have to take hat you get. The blue-white spots near the top of the left side are a bit bothersome. |

Frostyby vtruanComment: Wonderful colors and a good find. The face is a bit obscure but that just adds a bit of mystery. This should fininh well towards the top. |

The Vaseby xtabintunComment: Ah - the 'ole optical illusion from a class I had way back when. Exceptionally well executed. I hope people look at it long enough to see the hidden faces! Top ten! |

Mother Nature's Angerby Joey LawrenceComment: This is truly awesome and my favorite of the bunch. I have a nagging feeling it may be a bit outside the editing rules but did not request a DQ. I hope it stays in! Good seeing, perfect exposure and presentation. |

Broken Flowerby MikeOComment: Your placement is perfect as is the rim lighting. Truly a piece of art. The white border holds it together very well. It has a lot of negative space - not really sure if that helps it or not. It SHOUTS broken extremely well. |

Hit by a Ten (One More Could Kill Him)by smartypantsComment: The only thing wrong with this photo is the title - but that won't cost any points from me. Perfectly setup, great lighting, and funny as can be. The addition of the tiny band-aide on the "good" leg is an added bonus. Humor doesn't normally score as high as it should on DPC, but I really hope yours proves to be the exception. It SHOULD be in ribbon country. |

Brokedown Palace by cpurserComment: This DOUBLE BROKEN is wondeful. The old building is itself is a superb entry - very well composed and exposed. The focus is sharp througout. Then ADD the broken-spirited man to the scene and you have a true unique winner. Look out for the ribbon train - it should be headed in your direction. |

Inner Lightby stragsComment: Your soft colors and great lighting make this the winner of all the NUMEROUS broken light bulb shots. (For a while I thought the challenge must say "broken light bulbs!") Nicely composed and perfect exposure. Look for the ribbon train. |
