"Back" Cover Girlby DougPazComment: Strong points: PERFECT alignment and darn close on color matching. Your lighting and exposure was right on - her white top has lots of detail and texture. Great idea well executed. Suggestions for improvement: The vertical lines on the wall behind her head are bothersome. |

What Really Happens During Ovulationby flip89Comment: Not exactly wacky foods - but the ttle is wacky enough. Nice image with plenty of detail. The white semicircle at the base should have been moved out of the way. Excellent exposure. |

Fun Fruit Flowersby woodseyComment: Well done indeed - creating a nice arrangement of colors and shapes. My only problem is that the background has a definite gray cast - it would look so much better if it were white. I expect you shouold finish way towards the top. |

Hawaiian Style!by divernickComment: Way cool - book-em Dano! Great specimen shot with excellent lighting and a good sense of humor. The only small (tiny) problem is the white spots on the dark gray background. Well done indeed - you should be happy with your top of the heap placement. |

Tropical Starsby kyeboshComment: Your lighting is superb! Composition - with the repeating shapes is also excellent. Exposure right one. This should finish at or very near the top of the pack |

RAMBUTANby Rando D300Comment: Wonderful colors and texture. Your decision to add some variety of shapes with the oranges and "stick bundles" was a wise one. The red rubber bands add the final touch - resulting in a super image. Your thin black border is absolutely perfect. My only complaint is that green sticker on the one orange. Overall, I expect this to be in the top ten - and perhaps way at the top. |

Peace Pleaseby SonifoComment: Strong points: The emotions evoked by the image - both empathy and humor - are powerful. The technical stuff is all perfect including composition, exposure and the desat. The purple really works as the conterpoint. Suggestions for improvement: for me the border is a bit larger than it needs to be. |

The Blue Windowby aKiwiComment: Strong Points: Superb composition using colors that really sing together. Exposure is dead on - and the flat lighting really helps. Suggestions for improvement: I really don't see anything you could have done any better! |

Sunset at Castle Hill by BobsterLobsterComment: Strong points: Lighting, lighting! You found great lighting and then an excellent subject as well. The golden glow of the tower complements the orangy clouds perfectly. The hint of white clouds and blue sky at the top is an added bonus. Composition could not be better with the perfect amount of nice green for a base. Suggestions for improvement: Downsize the border. Overall: Listen for the whistle of the ribbon train - it's on the way. |

All the Good Thingsby mbardeenComment: Strong points: The scene is excellent with a great range of colors. Taken at a opportune moment. Suggestions for improvement: It's rather centered and would be fine to remove some of the bottom. The heavey 2-toned border could be downsized a bit. |
