Summer at the Farm by L1Comment: This image has everything (almost) going foir it! Great subjects, perfect desaturization, and it does indeed say "Summer at the Farm" in a Norman Rockwell style.
Having said all that - why in the heck didn't you move the guys away from that fence? The background should not draw attention from the subject - but this one does. (That's my only complaint and it includes the object behind the shoulder / neck boy on the right.)
Ribbonsville is just ahead. Your train stops there.

Multies Plot to Snap Up Local Glassworksby unicumComment: A very graphic image with nice lines and repeating shapes. Print is rather muddy though with no real "black blacks" or "white whites". And the border draws attention to the lack of whites as it's the brighest area of the scene. The title/headline does make it a news story on a slow news day. |

England 4, Croatia 2by BobsterLobsterComment: Great silhouette and a strong graphic image. It's too bad the guy on the left was there - it would be stronger with just the "main" subject. Definitely a news story - and full of emotion. Simple and understated title / headline. |

Supersizing Celebs Remodel Drive-Thruby GeneralEComment: Wow - that's some streched limo! Probably a high school prom or graduation? Tree in foreground really detracts as does the overall business ofthe image. But it sure does have the "feel" of a newspaper! |

Retirement - The Last Day in Schoolby mannjuditComment: Nice portrait of a "classic" face. I like the directional lighting but it may be just a tad over exposed. Too bad you couldn't have moved to the left a bit to remove the distracting and OOF flowers. The backgrould works well with nothing really detracting from the subject. |

Rocketing high pretroleum pricesby gaurawaComment: Unusual perspective but it works well for me. The yellow/orange/red of the shell sign is well accented by the crisp blue sky. Nice time of day / lighting. I hope our non US voters (who pay WAY more for petrol) don't hold that against your score. |

Golden Lion Wreaks Havokby JadeComment: Yiou have a very pleasing image with playful colors. The black background helps the gold really sparkle. Not much in the way of probable news. |
