Suburban Jungleby sweetpeaComment: I fear that the date stamp on this image will result in a DQ.
The image itself is rather dark, bland and lacking a central theme. I have looked at this image on a variety of monitors and still cannot decipher much, other than the leaves at the forefront. You might consider reading some of the various tutorials available.
I wish you well in your future endeavors... but this image I fear will not do all that well in this challenge.
Good luck and happy shooting. |

Quasi una fantasia ribbitby timfythetooComment: Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Not only is this image executed to perfection, but it manages to lift my spirits every single time I look at it... which is often.
Very well done.

Seattle Waterfrontby joannsComment: A beautiful shot of the Seattle waterfront. I just love the way you guide us along the waterfront to the downtown core. Great leading lines. Well done indeed.

---by ElaineComment: Very well done indeed. You managed to take something that we see and essentially ignore on a daily basis and turn it into a very captivating image.
My only quibble with the image is the presence of the very small line at the extreme lower left of the photo, as it is an unnecessary distraction.
Kudos on a well thought out and executed image... it should do well. |

Illuminationby whatdewucComment: A very nice image with fantastic lighting and DOF. I very much like the different colours of the sky and the gradual descent of the lights into the sunset.
You might want to check your sensor, as there seems to be a bit of sensor dust visible in you image. |

Hills and Valleysby arnitComment: A very nice image of a beautiful vista.
You should give consideration to cleaning what seems to be dust from your sensor as it detracts from your image. |

Tangleby LoudDogComment: Love this image, and personally might have even shortened the DOF a tad in order to eliminate any and all distractions. |

Cold Creek Tank #2by BlackboxComment: Perhaps its just me, but it seems like there is a possibility that the horizon is a tad tilted.
I have since reviewed the image and now realize I was mistaken. Well done. Message edited by author 2006-07-26 00:28:49. |

Oh Wader, there's a fly in my soup.by NobodyComment: This is a great capture of one of the fastest birds on the beach. I have no idea whether the shadow you captured occurred via luck or design, but it most certainly adds to the depiction of motion.
Very well done.... I look forward to re-visiting this image after the contest as I hope to find out the particulars regarding this image. |
