the buildings look like they are from a movie set and are only 2-d!

And at least the backgroubd is out of focus too.
if that was in focus and the birds weren't, then it would look really bad
But I'm willing to accept that you like it and that's fine by me. |

but i can say that i think you've picked a good subject to convert.
the only part i don't like is the "blown out" sky.
but that probably couldn't be avoided? |
