"Rock" Onby dave2119Comment: This made me smile. Goofy subject. Might have been better with different lighting. Good luck. |

Bump in the Nightby PaigeComment: This doesn't resonate with me. Technically it's a good workmanlike image except possibly for comp. I think it's that the subject matter leaves me a little cold. Sorry to seem negative. Just my opinion. |

Sistersby myqylComment: Cute kids ready for bed. I like that. It's an innovative approach to the theme. Good luck. |

Autumn Night Coloursby SteveJComment: I find the leaves turning from green to red somewhat interesting, but the overall photo doesn't sustain my interest. It feels too busy to me. Not sure of the light source, possibly your flash, but the lighting feels pretty harsh. |

Clotheslineby JiaBobComment: I just calibrated my monitor so I'm pretty sure that's not the problem. But this is so dark, I can't find any detail to focus on or to attract and sustain my interest. |

Longingby leafComment: I am generally not a fan of this type of partial exposure photo. In this case, however it is so well done it is among my top picks. The semi-transparent model even casts a semi-transparent shadow. Really really well done. Congratulations. |

Archdiocese of St. Paulby GatorguyComment: Beautiful! Razor sharp ... which is not so easy at night. Levels, white points and black points are very very good. Good subject for the challenge and well composed. I was going to nit pick a bit about the pickup truck in front of the church. But the more I think about it, I think it's okay. It provides scale and it provides an intellectual point of contrast that compliments the contrast of the rest of the photo. Among my top picks. |

Crude Movesby jbsmithanaComment: I can't articulate all the reasons I like this so much, but I do. Partly it makes very good use of white points and black points. The focus and deep DOF are technically excellent. Composition with the reflections and the subject ships is strong. Among my top picls. Hope it ribbons ! |
