Rural Fieldsby Judith PolakoffComment: Lovely composition. Beautiful colors. Technically perfect. Reminds me of time I spent in the country as a kid. Makes me want to take a long walk there. Among my top 5 picks. |

spiresby nordicComment: One of the best interpretations of implied lines I have seen so far. Well composed and executed. Love the detail. |

Fallby PoobaComment: Beautiful. Be even better bigger if your camera can sustain a higher resolution or you could get closer. |

Road to the Other Sideby LokiComment: It may be natural, but this feels over processed to me. IMO it detracts from the natural beauty of the subject. |

1600 Pennsylvania Ave: no right turns.by MrYuComment: Love the title ... and the double meaning of it is intriguing during election season. Too bad the photo didn't live up to the idea. Just my opinion so don't read all that much into it. |

City Reflected in a Puddleby Keith ManiacComment: I like the subject and composition of this image but IMO it's just too bright. I just recalibrated my monitor so I don't think that's the problem. First I respect artistic integrity. You may have intended it to be ultra-bright. But in case that wasn't your intention, I did play around with a copy of your photo a bit and a levels adjustment would made it more dramatic and toned it down a bit. I tried 50-100, 1.0, 255 across the RGB channels and got results more to my liking. Hope I didn't offend you. It's just my opinion after all. |

The end of the dayby JeanComment: I just recalibrated my monitor, as I do 2-3 times a day depending on the time of day and sun/clouds. So I don't think that's the problem. This is just to dark to make out enough detail to resonate with the photo. It could be your monitor needs recalibration. I also copied your image into PS CS and used levels to adjust it to 0,1,114 across RGB and it works a lot better for me that way. Sorry to seem negative. It's just my opinion. |

The Blood of Christby vtruanComment: Focus and DOF seem okay. Color is okay. Subject is weak. Comp is somewhat weak. Title, while possible appropriate to the subject, really doesn't help place the photo in context or improve my understanding of what you're trying to say. Sorry to seem negative. Just my opinion. |
