Not enough detail in the yellow leaves, a little out of focus. BUT, I still voted an (8) because you met the challenge criteria very well, have an interesting image, and took a great shot.

Now this is more like it - I was beginnning to lose the will to live voting on this challenge!!

Lovely observation and an excellent effort to present an appealing subject as well as meet the brief. The viewpoint and compsoition is great. Image is a touch soft, but I hope you're up near the top with this.
