7 Red Stripesby eaglebeckComment: Clearly meets the challenge. Focus of the moving flag is well done. Nice vibrant colors. Sky could be a bit more dramatic but with basic editing, there's not much you can do except wait for thunderstorms. I am as patriotic as the next guy, but the subject doesn't grab or hold my interest. |

"Thanking My Lucky Stars!"by jemisonComment: I like the composition (slanted horizon and all). Stark silhouette is nice. Good use of implied lines. Sunsets usually do well here and this is a nice one. I am generally not a fan of borders but this one works well because of the dimension of it and the color. Well done. |

$1.15 - - and no change for a dollar!by photomComment: Very good technical execution of the subject. Nice contrast with background. Weak composition, in my opinion, doesn't grab or hold my interest. I can see it in an ad though, for a mint coin set. Good job there. |

VIBGYOR: The colours of the rainbowby ssenguptaComment: Good technical study. Shows mastery of camera and editing. Good contrast with background. Would do well as stock photo, I think. Saturation feels a bit over the top but since most stock is cartoon, over the top often works. |

Winding stripesby AlbireoComment: Very stark. Very ... mathmatical. I like the refractions and the way they manipulate the lines. There are some jpeg artifacts that distract a bit. At this size, not much to do. Maybe slightly smaller (say 600 instead of 640) would do the trick. Just a suggestion. Well done. |
