For me the strength of the photo, besides the lovely result, is the mixture of focused and blurred components. From a distance, where the focused parts blur a bit, the composition is very good, too. Best of class.

The film noir feeling is perfect. I can see this as a backdrop for a gritty detective movie, or a subtle horror piece. Super well done.

This isn't the sort of image I tend to like but this one seems to work so well. The mist/steam/cloud stuff is terrific giving it a dynamic feel.
