I think this would have been better if shot from the kid’s level instead of the adult few looking down. The selected shutter speed just doesn’t convey action to me.

I’m reminded of the classic first stop action horse pictures that proved all four hooves are off the ground. Wish the panning was a little more pronounced, but still a great shot.

Congrats on the ribbon! I knew this would do very well. I feel lucky in 2nd place; 0.003 difference in score. I know you were well above 7 most days of the voting period. Should have finished there IMO.

I think I would have focused on the car and let the cattail blur. Just a little on the soft focus side for me. I donĂ¢€™t think the border adds anything.
