DATsby DistantColoursComment: It takes some getting used to. But it is clever and reflects the grid-based work and rectangles of color Piet Mondrian is known for. In addition, there are geometric shapes and some abstract qualities. |

Windmillby MargaretNetComment: Wow. This is like a Mondrian biography in a picture. I never heard of him, but enjoyed researching his work. He started out painting landscapes with fields and windmills. You also reflect his interest in geometric shapes, grid-based shapes, and abstracts. |

Gray Treeby AmmieComment: I like this photo. I never heard of Mondrian before. (I did take an art class in college, but didn't remember this name.) After researching Mondrian, I learned he started out painting landscapes and trees before he became interested in abstract. I believe he would have complimented you on this photo. It's nice. |

neighborby tvsometimeComment: I like the old window and the grid-based abstracts and rectangles of color Piet Mondrian is famous for. And You included trees which, from what I read, he started out painting. |

Rainbow Scarvesby jgirl57Comment: Honestly, Its a nice photo; however, I don't see it reflecting the concepts of Mondrian from what I've learned about him. But I'm not an expert, and I could be very wrong. The colors are very unique however. Very beautiful colors. |

A Drop of Mondrian by JCrest01Comment: It does reflect the grid-based abstracts, geometry, and rectangles of color (colour) Piet Mondrian is famous for. |

Sweet Art.by Jules1xComment: Edible art! If they candy like this in the 1800s, I'm sure Mondrian would have done something similar as a child. I believe you captured the intent of the competition here very well. |
