Letting go of the fear of fireworksby UrhoComment: Beautiful image of childhood and its emotional transitions. The children outside, the bright flashes of firecrackers, the reflection in the window --- all that come together gloriously. A favorite. |

OH how the grass has withered by NeatComment: Lovely line of trees against the blue and white sky, with a golden expanse of withered grass before it. The man on the bench, with the hefty backpack and walking stick, re-echoes the metaphor of passing time. Both pretty and wistful. Some halos on tree trunks. |

from words to worksby mariucaComment: I'm unable to figure this image out, but it sure does pique my interest. I'd like to learn more about it. |

diy stretch limoby tnunComment: This is such a clever idea, and title, with the transition being artificially produced with camera technique. I very much like the ghostliness of both the 'limo' and the backing woods. |

Seasonalby MAKComment: A moody sky showcases that particular phenomenon of a rainbow separating the sky into light and dark -- a very mysterious transition. The yellow tree (weeping willow?) is perfectly set off before the blue sky. I wonder what the light dots and streaks amidst and below the rainbow are? |

Moving into the working dayby millsaComment: Transitions not only of day/night but also work/off work. Strong sunrise, delicate silhouette and contrails resembling crepuscular rays. |

Preparing for the nightby JudiComment: Along with this amazing sun behind cloud portrayal, it seems that storms are accompanying all this majesty. So there are two classic transitions here ---weather and day/night. Sweet. But I'm not enamored of the foreground. |

Upby MelethiaComment: This commonplace transition seems to suggest that moment to moment life is a continual blur of transitions. Every step we take. This is an admirable portrayal of such a proposition. |

where have they gone?by cutoutComment: I don't understand the transition but the image is so persuasively suggestive that I'll take it on faith. |

Upon the tideby MichaelCComment: Designed for transitional living, this elegantly alien-looking crab inhabits a zone of muck and gold. The very unusual tones are fascinating, and the actual eye contact draws one in. |
