Godzilla has nothing on this guy. Great idea, beautifully handled. Great glossiness and detail. Though we generally think of the raven as jet black, this image is actually a bouquet of blues. I'd see this movie anytime.

OK, a wing is a wing. This seemingly simple photo is actually quite astounding. The slightly unusual architecture is broken into myriad planes, with their tones varying in accordance to their access to sunlight. Then there are the ladders, railings and rooftops. It's a realistic mash-up of cubism and Escher. Nice touches include the tank, the tree and the cloud streak. The creamy sepia is lovely. Going into my favorites.

Not sure what I'm looking at, but it's intriguing and creative, verging on collage. I like to think that the mount on the right is a nippled volcano. Good stuff.

Mysterious and tender. There's an implied meaning here that I can't quite discern. Maybe having something to do with the bizarre life cycle of the cicada? Anyway, I like this very much.

The little bit of focus on the wing nicely sets off the rest of the fly, elegantly composed and disappearing into the background. I like how the fly fills the frame and especially like the faint shadows.

Although I generally don't like partially desaturated images, this is beautiful and moving. The coloration is like an old tinted photo, and it seems to glow. The purple hue of the foreground perfectly harmonizes with girl's purple shirt. Altogether lovely.
