There's a primitive, mythical, biblical feel to this image. The various elements scatter about in an unusual composition, but enjoyable. It's an unrolled scroll affording a glimpse of the immensity of time. Beautiful.

| 04/17/2022 11:01:52 PM | on the edge of not dreamingby posthumousComment: A wonderful title that nudges one in a surprising, rewarding direction. I'll buy it.
Light and dark intermingle here not only in a straightforward tonal way, but also in consideration of waking and dreaming, or not dreaming, dancing on the edge. Conscious and unconscious play tag. Is that frost or clouds, under or above? The face is noncommital, it's just there, and we can't, it seems, know more.

| 04/17/2022 10:31:41 PM | Here and thereby PaulComment: The seasons of the day, morning, afternoon and evening, are shuffled together, as betold by the mosaic of lights and darks. In this manner the entire day, maybe not the night here, is seen as an entirety, all at a glance. It's implied that time is not a procession but a total integration into which you can peer at everything at once. Or maybe not, just saying.
The mood is mystical, sci-fi-y. Beautiful tones and textures. A multi-dimensional road map might help.

| 04/05/2022 09:35:24 PM | Ancient Colorsby AliaaComment: The colors have faded, but in hearkening back through the ages one can infer the brilliance and vitality, awe and trepidation, faith and mystery that once lived here. That's more than enough. | Photographer found comment helpful. |
| 04/05/2022 09:16:12 PM | pinupby PennyStreetComment: Wonderfully quirky, plain-spoken and thoughtfully noted. Unexpected composition that works like a charm. Red, green, black and white, all vital and balanced. Every object is off-center, yet the stage sustains a balanced tension. And the humble plexiglass window reveals the mighty city, if I'm seeing it rightly, as a decorative will-o-the-wisp.
It pays to glance left and right. | Photographer found comment helpful. |
