how quickly we passby tvsometimeComment: Motion blur, life rushing by... that's fine. What I really love here is how the somewhat distinct tombstones in the lower foreground give way to the less distinct ones above, which are very much like leaves being blown off the tree branches. That transition is lovely. |

Fast Food.by romilComment: Much more than bright colors, though these are fun, there's a lot of human story going on here, much of it implied, left to the imagination. What to make of the man with his tattooed arms, serving a platter to an empty counter, a large knife, undoubtedly a tool of the trade, resting ominously in front of him, and the anonymity of a cheese head? What is the woman's emotional state? What's she holding in her hand? Do they have enough ketchup? It's all very enjoyable. |

awayby tnunComment: Fine, fleeting and unusual capture of this pigeon. I like the composition that uses negative space to enhance the sensation of catching movement out of the corner of one's eye. Seems to emerge from the background. |

blocksby TiberiusComment: Terrific dizzying perspective with all that complexity of lines tending towards a vanishing point. There's also a satisfying harmony of modest color tones. |

above the gorgeby WagonwheelComment: Nice otherworldly atmosphere to this modestly contoured scene with water. I especially like the foreground vegetation, dead and alive. |

Sunset over the city by JudiComment: Fine wide angle shot in which the young man is actually portrayed looking down and across the expansive. I'm imagining that he's looking over his home town. The lovely sunset adds to the poignancy of the scene. A more elegant positioning of the shirt on the railing would help the image. |

Flying Turkeyby ibkcComment: So engaging and playful. That piece of turkey has a perfect amount of blur. I love the intensity dogs bring to food. My personal second favorite in the challenge. |

forlornby NeatComment: Excellent image, engagingly forlorn. The composition is superb, and I love how the pigeons connect the two men. The brickwork is like an added texture, but it's real. The benches look like amoebae having just separated and drifting apart. My personal favorite in the challenge. |

canopyby jagarComment: I went quickly by this on first pass, but seeing it again I like it. It has a confusing harmony to it, busy and disparate though it is. I'm glad I stopped for a second look, for it's rather rewarding. |
