paxtonby rozComment: I like this one better. The tender mood you've shown so well is compromised, in my opinion, by the water overlay in the other shot. That extra processing draws attention away from Paxton. I think the lighting is somewhat bright, but that's just personal taste. |

Hangin' with Anselby wbanningComment: That does sound fascinating. As a keepsake of the visit this is quite beyond what a casual photographer would bring home. It's clean and well-composed, and encapsulates what you've experienced -- camera, images, albeit the smaller ones, and a life-size model of the artist. I like that the focus is on the camera, as it should be in this case. |

Reflections on the work of a wreckerby jomariComment: Interesting montage of reflections and your hard-working son. Even though these cars look kind of slick, it's the overall jumble that conveys the feel of a wrecked car lot. Nice to have a museum in the family. |

Windowby GermaineComment: First, I love the colors, the grays, browns and harmonizing greens. Then same for the mood, somber with a light touch, hidden, out of another time. It all works together so well. A plague of locusts and ready to go. Strong, assured image. |

scrapby instepsComment: A well-composed loose confederation of what's considered worthless. But these scraps shouldn't bow before jewels felt to be better and desirable, and so I'm glad to see them celebrated. And that sheet of red metal. |

Photo Opby JuliBocComment: I like the sensation that the sunglasses lens is itself the eye, independent of the wearer. The reflection is interesting and appealing, from the silhouetted figure to the striking sky and the opulent blues. Unusual and satisfying. |

Mar 14 - Budby hajekaComment: This bud brings us up short and forces strong concentration, which is rewarded upon really seeing the delicate beauty of it. The bokeh is interesting too. We see the out of focus buds and can smile at their secrets. |

Winterby MargaretNetComment: An alternate title could be "Mother Nature." It's an unusual, maybe even arbitrary (to my thinking) combination, but that's a great deal of the interest I feel. I like the purple in the glasses, it's like a third, intentional overlay. |

If your right eye offends youby mitalapoComment: Very interesting, as the three people in the same scene are both connected and unconnected at the same time. Is the man angry or enthusiastic? Is the woman accusatory or dismayed? The boy, at whom all the energy is directed, is literally a blank. I'm afraid (not really) that I'll never know what's happening here. But it's a good image. |

Boulangerie "La campaillette".IMG_0961by mariucaComment: This is my favorite of the four, as it lets us feel that we're out shopping and actually could buy this delicious bread. I like that you've included some peripheral context that enables the scene to be casual. Also, it's neat that the breads show a variety of shapes, textures and tones. |
