Emergingby swallaceComment: Another alien birth? ;-)
That's a very good cicada photo. It's a shame you didn't have this one for the Macro V challenge. |

Remains of the Dayby SammieComment: This is STRONGLY reminiscent of Maxfield Parrish's Daybreak. With a little more levels and hue/saturation work, I'm betting it could have placed much higher. Good job! |

Rural Americaby NeilComment: Looks like you picked a great day for a bike ride! The cloud shadow makes a nicely-placed compositional element. If I may suggest for next time, crop or shift a little to the right to lose that tree and get down low to put the grass in the foreground at about f/22. That should yield a great, three-dimensional sense of depth. |

Reformationby NeilComment: Great colors and motion. I really like the glowing tanzanite blues against the yellow. If you don't already, you should have a series of these framed and matted on your walls. |

Escape by nico_blueComment: Congrats on the well-deserved blue. I was starting to think you should change your name to nico_red, but now your ribbon collection is complete! |

Feedingby arpitaComment: I think I bruised my chin when my jaw hit the floor. It'll heal, but this image goes STRAIGHT into my favorites, and would have been an 8+ final score in Birds. Yowsa! |
