Heh... now where have I seen this before? Looks like you were working with something too rigid to create a smooth transition. Something like Play Doh or molasses might have provided cleaner joints. Still, a clever take on the challenge.

More like Made in Atlantis...? You could have created a nice still life with the same leaves on a slab of marble or wood. The water just adds clutter IMO.

Nice to see a lens cap with an actual reason for being in the photo. Pity you didn't have beads of water on the cap for better integration with the flower, and it's a little hot at the top left corner, but overall pretty good.

Yay! A lens cap used in an actual concept! The subject has limited visual appeal IMO, but you might have been able to color the "sign" red by bouncing the light off a carefully masked sheet of red paper to complete the story a little more. 8

Criticisms (all minor): Pity you didn't have a more outdoors-y background to complete the illusion... dark green or blue. I'd suggest cropping to a narrower horizontal format (and making it available as a stock photo). The border in this case doesn't really add anything IMO.
