Stilt Sees Preyby sfaliceComment: Wonderful shot. Impressive observation and excellent timing - that muddy foot and those eyes - superb - 10 |

Sherlock's Symphonyby greuuComment: Little implication of anything happening past the edge of the frame. Good entry for parallel lines! |

Twitcherby UNCLEBROComment: Meets the challenge but the image is poorly focussed especially around the eyes which are responsible for the effect. Not sure either what the white border left and right adds. |

Industrial Strength Velcroby dacrazyrnComment: Imaginative choice of subject. On close inspection I'd have liked to see more of the foreground in focus but nicely composed nevertheless. Is this actually black and white or colour? |

Off/Onby K-RobComment: From the thumbnail this looks like a potential top 10. on closer inspection, however, it loses a bit of impact by the out of focus letters. perhaps this was an unavoidable consequence of the device's lighting but looks like you might have used a slightly higher position to eliminate the shadows behind the letters. Also, a pity about the highlight and flare at top of blue ring. A well imagined shot though and these small points are what makes the difference between an 8/9 and a 6/7 |

Interstate Abstract by Firstrich1Comment: Very effective composition and colours and a wonderful interepretation of the challenge. Small points - if you have photo-editing software you could have got rid of vehicles (?) protruding above parapets and also fire hydrant (?) in lower right (or croped a bit higher). Excellent image overall. |

Digging Designby BeagleboyComment: This could so easily have been quite a mundane shot but it's actually very striking with a persistent senses of drama as if this was a play we were watching. The lighting is very dramatic - how did you do it? Shot would have been improved perhaps by getting the digger arms more symmetrical but guess you didn't have much control over that (?!) |

Lockheed M-21 Blackbirdby cabaComment: This is a fantastic subject for the challenge. However, the result is rather bland. It reveals little of the sinister nature or engineering beauty of this plane. Whilst the photo suggests a creative approach, I am left rather unmoved. perhaps a closer approach would have worked better for me or the entire subject in silhoutte - not sure. |

Renovation of a 19th century stone barn.by jjbeguinComment: This image captures various elements of design with great flair. I particularly like the wide angle and the contrast you've created whilst maintaining detail in the bath (swimming pool?) Lighting is perfect. A beautiful image |
