Msaka Childby gsalComment: I think the blur helps add something to the image. |

big cat diariesby jagarComment: Went rushing through your portfolio so I could make your 5000th comment John!
I always like how you can add humour into your work, this is a great shot of a great (big) cat. The look on it's face is excellent, you sure this isn't a composite? what a small head on such a long cat. As always the setting and B&W is spot on!
I wonder if I'll be making your 10,000th comment as well Sir? |

Paint by Numberby MelonMusketeerComment: Thanks for this, I just had to look in my profile for what I thought was a very similar shot I'd taken but couldn't find the exact one, this is similar and was taken about 20 feet away from the through the bushes shot I was looking for....
I do like the way you framed this, voyeuristic but guess the horses won't sue ;) |

dead heartsby odriewComment: Wasn't sure what to expect from the thumb but can see a pointillism type face like you'd see on a Totem Pole. |

Grazieliaby ZigomarComment: Grazielia is a genus of flowering plants in the daisy family.
Lovely image and the colours are complementary to the model. Thanks for the arrow to help me concentrate on the main subject. |

Beach Sceneby GermaineComment: There is so little in this image yet so much to look at and think about. The tree is a great addition and adds scale to the entire scene. |

Inkerman Gullyby jomariComment: Borders only bother me if I think they detract from the image and this looks fine to me (think I'm getting used to the polaroid frames you have used).
I do like the soft tones here and of course fog can be blurry. It looks like a lovely spot for all seasons. |

Jul 18 - Socksby hajekaComment: Well, I didn't know you could add the swap out optics to your profile so thanks, just added 4 lenses to my arsenal here :)
Not much blur but (maybe) just enough not to warrant a DNMC lol. Good control of the white bg and just little blur for interest, I must say well done to Mrs Henk for a fine pair of socks! (is she taking orders?) |

calling all angelsby JutildaComment: NOOOO, don't try and emulate the lensbaby in post, firstly it doesn't work and secondly until you look through the viewfinder and see your creation you won't get the same feeling!
That said this is wonderful, the softness, her gaze and the high key B&W all work well together. If I were to nit pick the back of the chair? on her left shoulder detracts (ever so) slightly. |
