ok Deb, this is the 4th shot of yours I've seen with the LB and whilst I liked the other 3 THIS is the reason why I (and others) said the LB would suit your photography 'style'. The word Epitomy springs to mind but might just be a little rash as I'm sure we will be seeing more (much more) of the same from you girl!

The true LB afficionado cares little for 'nailing' the focus, and is instead more pleased to just flirt with focus. Both those spots are more the preoccupation of amateurs.

lol, wrong forum for my comments methinks however I wonder if the title helped send Paul into this rather revealing analogy?

Germaine, I can this series of shots from that street (am guessing its the same one we see often?) in a book in 50 years time depicting life as it used to be. Well obviously I won't be around in 50 years to see it but know I'd have loved it ;)

Super dooper shot Erin! I find some of my shots get this extra sharp spot, over and above what I'd expect from my 50mmF/1.8 let alone my LB. This really drab building and young tree are brought to life nicely, especially with your processing.

Excellent composition Lisa! I see the green thing is distracting but am wondering if it sells the shot more as a candid and if it wasn't there maybe it would look a little contrived? (not that thats a bad thing of course).

Not sure what the others are smoking today (or this month for that matter) but this was a doorknob in the thumbnail for my trained though oft strained eye.

Love the perspective and tones here and of course the LB shows a much better dof than any 'proper' lens might ;)

My first thought too then I thought its a mix between over exposing a little, the LB effect and maybe a bit in post processing? either way this is a stonking image and going into my rather small favourites folder :)

Health and safety should close that bridge, what with a gaitors and no hand rail is a foto opportunity not to be missed! not wanting to lose the entire LB effect here I do think a square crop from the left improves this shot a little?
