glimpseby mocabelaComment: I like the composition and the sultry expression on the young woman's face. The sharp highlights on the hair (or is it on the feathers or fur?) are somewhat distracting....perhaps with more detail in that part of the photo it wouldn't be such a mystery. |

Margeby SondaComment: Simple and effective composition. The coarse power of the water on the sand and its effects on the wood begin to tell a story of the interaction of elements of nature. Nicely seen. |

Unkeptby KonadorComment: Nice abstraction! I like the tension of the tow main elements in this image, the graffitied metal wall and the scraggly weeds. The grain helps lend a painterly quality--almost pointilism. There's a lot to interest the eye here. |

Once Upon a Time....by Sherri1209Comment: Interesting alley. I like the wood dors and the texture in the buildings. The composition leads the eye to the end of the alley which, unfortunately, is a disappointing finish. Wonder what it would have been like if you'd taken the picture from a few feet to the left allowing the alley to dissolve into black...? |

Out of here by heidaComment: Moody! Nice! This is one image that just wouldn't have the same impact without the grain. |

Rebel by gaurawaComment: What a toughy! Love this image! The expression on this boy's face is perfect! All the elements that make this a true portrait are there from the blurred background to the tatooed musular arm with the rolled up sleeve! Only quibble, I'd like to see a little more detail in that near shirt sleeve. One of my top pics for the challenge! |

Desolation by Joey LawrenceComment: Gritty drama! The extreme persepective just adds so much to the story of this image! Love the pose, the attitude, the grain. Only drawback for me is the darkening on the edges of the house and horizon--just a tad too much toward the grunge side. Nonetheless, one of my top pics for the challenge. Good luck! |

Newport Castleby postoakinversionComment: Wonderful feel to this image! It reminds me of those turn-of-the-century souvenir cards. I could just as easily be the ancient wall in Istanbul. Beautiful rendering of the tones. Composition just sucks me in! Good luck! (One of my top picks for the challenge.) |

Going Downby PanoComment: Lovely graphic! Every reason to be wide-wide-angle and then some!
Sweet image...but, by now I expect you already know that. =) |
