Black Ladyby anthonyczajaComment: The red and green divide the photo in a pleasing way. I like the contrast of sharp and unfocused parts and it gives depth and texture to the image. The bug(?) seems to lack focus, and since it wants to be the focus of attention it would help if it were better defined. |

Bloomby dzone1Comment: The blossom has a great deal of character and depth. The lighting on the bloom is dull, however. The background tree is somewhat distracting. Noise lends a bit of an old-fashioned feel to the subject, just too many distractors to make this an exception rendering of the subject. |

Door of Contrastby littlebertha34Comment: The subject is a nice choice. The dull white sky in the upper left corner detracts from the composition. I like the crispness of the textures. It just seems that there were opportutnities to present your topic more dramatically. |

Just because that Duffy's Eye...by lsmartComment: Lovely picture of this water bird. Though your title implies that I should accept the blue of the eye as the complement to the orange, it just doesn't seem that color is answering the challenge very well. |
