A Gift from Aboveby CamComment: Banana Manna? (jus' a little biblical joke)
Love the texture and contrast. Well positioned against the cloud. Only thing, wonder why I'm not seeing any stress in the hand given the point of view and the apparent weight of those bananas ..... |

Lifetime Habitby carmenscameraComment: This is beautiful! Lovely light and contrasting textures. The color is seductive! The triplet reflection in the hardware is the only (minor) draw back--wouldn't be so minor if it were blown up though. Still, my pick for the win. Thank you for sharing those lovely hands! |

yep...we have no bananasby JenHallComment: But you do have the beginnings of a great banana bread . . . 1 point for bananas, 1 point for image tone, 1 point for cropping and composition, 1 point for being brave, and 1 more for your sense of humor. (Hope a 5's o.k. with you.) |

Family Reunion?by photomComment: Interesting idea for this challenge. I like the play on words. Seems that there's not enough focus in this, though the composition is good. |

Black and Whiteby artvetComment: Nice idea for this challenge. The subjects are interesting--and I know it can be difficult to get a cat to cooperate, no less two! But the thing that stands out is, unfortunately, the pixelated whiskers. Can't tell you how to fix it, it depends on the camera and post-processing. |

Fierce Competition!by doctornickComment: Clever subject for this challenge. I think there are some technical problems, though. Your depth of field seems too limited--the " pepsi" at the bottom of the can could be in focus. The lighting is a bit harsh--especially evident in the highlights at the top of the coke cans. The background is neutral but the subjects fade into it at the edges. The b&w is a nice choice and the things I object to do lend an "artsy" feel. Just think it could be done a bit better. |
