Chili Peppers Rock London!by PixelstateComment: The subject is certainly appropriate, but the quality of the photo is not. There's too little information in the upper portion of the shot and the images on the screens are blown out. Focus and contrast would need to be greatly improved to make it into print. |

Recent rain poses problem for boathouse.by daneagletonComment: Like the colors and contrast. I think the refleciton works to make this subject interesting. Think cropping from the right would help focus attention on your subject and would remove the distracting birch and green box. |

Mom'll be home soonby DigitalNoobComment: You've found a beautiful and evocative subject. Your title clearly conveys your interpretation of the scene, perhaps to disadvantage...it might have equally been called "waiting for the other to leave" Tough subject to capture! Perhaps a tighter crop from the left? |

Bored, waiting for the busby pbaarnComment: Love the color and lines in this candid! I think your title does nothing to honor your subject, though. He could be so tired he's napping, he could be so sad he's quietly crying.... One of my top pics. Good luck! |

Poisedby zeuszenComment: Lovely capture of the heron poised for the strike! The pattern made by the water gives a great texture to the background, but the color of the water is not so appealing (though it is perhaps natural). Nice composition! Luck. |

Caged CATby redmondson01Comment: This would be much better without the pole intersecting the subject. I won't quibble that sport car racing is a team sport, but those who showed pit crews came much closer to conveying that. |

Blades of Steelby Toby-DogComment: Perhaps you could have cropped to reduce the bright spot at the left, or recomposed the shot to eliminate lens flare. It would be nice to see the blade mentioned in the title--without first-hand knowledge of hockey skates it's really difficult to tell what this is. |

View from the rough - The Ryder Cup 2004by kevrobertsonComment: The out of focus or blurred grass really detracts from this composition. The blade whick nearly bisects the image horizontally and the blade or thick twig at the bottom interrupt the flow of the lines. Cute sense of humor for the challenge, but on its own it really conveys nothing of "sport". |
