Needle floating on waterby jmritzComment: It's a good idea for a shot but the illusion seems lost in this shot. Perhaps having several needles floating and taking the shot from an angle would have better displayed the phenonomen. |

Developments In Science, Circa 1923by space amoebaComment: Perhaps slightly more "engineering" than "science" - but I get the idea. It's a nice close crop with good perspective. The lower left corner of the image is a little washed out but focus is very good. |

Melbourne at Midnightby loz1Comment: Nice photo - A little like Gordon's photo of people taken some time ago but taken closer to Swanston St. I'm from Melbourne myself - but didn't get a chance to enter this weeks challenge. Well done - I really like the glow of the signs combined with the sharpness of other details. |
