Jazz Bassby Jackson_HComment: Nice one. A bit on the grainy side, though.
I like the composition, the cutout part on the right, the negative space on the left and the highlight in the middle that separates the bass from the background.
Not very stripy one, but who cares, i like it. :-) |

"Oh! darkly, deeply, beautifully blue"- Lord Byron by bcrantsComment: I recognize these stripes. They won the previous Stripes challenge.
The glass ball, the upside-down martini glass, the tilted angle and even the basic color. The only difference is that this one is blue-on-blue, and the previous one was blue-on-white with subtle difference in the lighting.
Don't get me wrong, the image is excellent and variations on a theme are OK as far as i'm concerned, but it's the same shot that won the previous challenge. Not very original :-(. |

Reflecting on the pastby PixelstateComment: - I like the matte reflection in the water and the motion blur on the clouds.
- I don't like the centered horizon
- I'm still looking for a giant inflatable pig between the chimmneys :-) |

My Skyby pambComment: Nice sharp image with dramatic clouds. looks like thay are going away from the viewer and trying to suck the tree out of its roots in the process. |

cloud machinesby herfotomanComment: Is this a powerplant or an oil reffinery? Or both?
I like the idea, but the execution is not up to par, at least to me:
- The horizon is dead center
- The image is full of distracting grain and, what looks to me, dust specks.
- The image lack overall sharpness. |
