Did you try B&W? The old faded film print look works well, but i would have at least tried the B&W option.

Interesting one. I like how the color of the water pump makes it stand out. I like the composition and the processing as well. But, there are two things that i don't:
- That branch in the lower left corner.
- The direction of the light, or to be precise, the shadow on the pump.

I wish there was more light on the port label. This way the lighting kind of doesn't match the title.

The old wise bird

I don't know the old age marks on these birds but this one sure looks old. :-)
Photographically, this image is a mix of likes and don't likes for me.
- The composition is awesome and so is the posing of the bird.
- The focusing is sharp and dead on the eye. Nice work there
- Shallow DoF, to me, is not enough to separate the subject from the background. It kind of blends in with it.

Excellent photo of your dog. Sharp, bright, nice colors, lovely facial expression.
I don't like the centered composition. I would have cropped a bit from the bottom (just a bit) and a bit more from the right, but that's just me.
