I really enjoy the fun appeal of this image. So many times we have seen this same scene in people. The clarity, lighting and contrasts are nicely done as well as the dof.

There is something about this piece that is appealing. It is not the typical type of portrait, though it has nice lighting and contrast. Just something nice. Could be just as a whole it is a nice image. Not fantastic, breath-taking or extraordinary. But it is nice.

Pig Head

This is a fun image not only because of the clarity of pig-head but also because of the nonchalant nature of the gentleman in the back. It really demonstrates the difference in people. Whereas many people who never seen this type of ware being sold find a curious discuss or intriguing mortality to it. Whereas the guy who sells them for a living is just ho-hum because it is what it is. A Pig head hanging from a nail.

Strong structure, vibrant colour, though it appears smoothed over and for me that losses appeal. Personally I would have enjoyed the more dramatic, dirty grunge then the smooth washed over look.

Nice fun capture, the barrel of water create a nice element of drama. The colours appear in the mid range and I am wondering how it would change the image if they were pushed in either direction.

Even with the light spots on the pier, there is a nice fun element of colour and depth. It is not fantastic, but it is nice.
