Nice image of the fisherman with the orange/yellow sky. I wish that the sun was not so blown out, or perhaps even crop that area off the top of the image and only maintain a slight bit of the white/yellow and keeping most the sky a deeper orange. As I write this it is cut off my screen above and I enjoy it more then with the added blown area. Sometimes less is more.

This image has some nice elements. However for me, it just does not offer enough wow or excitement. Perhaps a lower camera angle would create another push or a push of colours. Though I have to say I am happy the sun is not center frame... but its close.

Retro in Red

I can appreciate this concept and I can see how the dial is off center as if it was moving. However I would have liked to see the motion blur with it as well as a stronger light source that creates drama. In other words having the light to the side and possible back a little to crate shadow appeal.

Street With No Name

I enjoy the tree on the viewers left. However that is all I enjoy. The street has very little light with no appeal. The title would lead me to believe the street is the point of interest. However for me, my eye is drawn to that single tree.

I do not speak the title language so no idea what it means. However I do enjoy the concept behind this image. Yet, the blown-out whites are a distraction for me. I would have enjoyed something a bit more balanced with lights/darks.

Earnest Little Beggar

Gotta love the little buggers. I am happy is head is in focus. It is a nice clean portrait of the critter. Though for me it does not offer enough excitement or wow factor.

Not sure if it is the bulb or the technique used but it appears smoother than it should. Or maybe frosted? Also I would have liked a bit more texture in the snow however I do enjoy the slight break between the background and snow.

For me, this piece leaves me wanting more. The absolute cut-off of the mannequin distracts me as well as the barely visible hair. There is no personality or dramatic appeal for me.

For me the first thing I notice is that the stalks are overly smooth. If some tool was used to smooth them I feel it went too far. It makes a distraction for me. If a tool wasn't those are certainly the smoothest talks I have seen. Im assuming green-onions. But I am not a master chef so I have no idea exactly. I enjoy the clarity of the container and the contrast of the strings inside. Just the actual greenage appears faulty to me.

It is a nice image, the contrast is nice between the animal, sky and shadow. However there seems to be a certain depth missing here. Sure its a nice image, but just missing that wow factor.
