Splash - milk to the chocolate by joaobaComment: Its not much of a chocolate shot but it is enough of a drop shot to warrant an 8. Only 3 out of 5 for chocotlatyness but full marks for the shot iteslf, I hope you gave details on how you got this great shot. |

Rare Air Inspi...ration²by dacrazyrnComment: Great DOF on this one, nice colors, but I tend to see M&Ms as candy on the outside, hence I see no brownish milk and sugar goodness in the frame. The chocolate part is too little of the frame and hiddden so only those who know M&M's (which I grant you is 99% of the online world) know where the chocolate is. My other beef is that too much sleeve is showing, if you crop it out and just have hamd. mountains & candy, the candy jumps out alot more! Anyway two small quibbles in a lovely shot. |

Fragile Balanceby menardmamComment: This was an idea that I'm sure alot of people thought of, and when they saw this shot they either regretted using the idea or were glad they used another. Strong lighting, I like the level of detail in the setup with the different face cards on different levels, the framing was well done with the bottom being squeezed but a bit of room at the top. The use of a triangular void in the upper right used to balance out the triangular figure is a nice touch. I usually like to point out one flaw when giving praise, but I can find none. |

... on one leg ...by GordonComment: Very funny shot, beautiful colors, and DOF. This is one of the few shots this week that both answers the challenge and would not need an explanation if you hung it on your wall. top ten |

Bank Balanceby lwkimagesComment: Prefect framaing was needed to pull off this shot and you nailed it. Strong conversion, and rich details. The title is one of the best this week. |

egg-scape by instepsComment: Could have done equally well in the Freedom challenge. Gereat lighting, fine use of subtle colors and an eggcentric but well balanced composition. not wild about the border, but that is a personal taste issue. Should be near ribbon land. |

two become one by grigrigirlComment: Fun shot, and great work with the dodge stick on this, I am in awe of what you got out of this difficult lighting situation. I would have never thought you could get anything at all from this lighting, let alone anything this special. Thanks for showing me that I was wrong. Rich details everywhere ( except ther dress, but at least you got it white) This one should be the best of the album. |

Physical and Abstract Balance by graphicfunkComment: the winner. Nice job, all the details nailed down. i like the level of complexity, had you not used the symbolic backround, or the detailed base, the shot would have been well done, good touch of reflected color, tight focus, and nice, but the added levels which harmonize with the main subject make this my favorite of the challenge. |
