Hypnotizedby JudiComment: This is a much better shot than entry. I love the Maxfield Parish vibe and it is a lovely image, but her hair is hanging straight down and the fabric is going in different directions. If you had had a windy day (or access to one of those fans they make hurricanes out of for the movies) This would have ribboned. |

The Rocket's Red Glare, the Bombs Bursting in Airby vladoComment: I though including the ubiquitous cell phone was clever (though a bit of color shifting to make the image there and in the sky you have been to the good) and figured this would place much, much higher. An iconic shot with a twist. |

liquidinmotion3-1aby CuttoothComment: Shame about the water drop on the optic, because this one is great. You caught the stroke of the bodysurfer perfectly. |

Meet Your Maker!by StagoleeComment: I think the bats are over the tipping point. The fog, the tree and the figure of death are enough, the bats add a level of Halloween camp, and they do not seem to integrate into the fog the way the figure does. |

New Isis says "Welcome!"by Hey_You_3000Comment: I always try to comment on my top scorer that places the furthest down the list. Either "you were robbed" or "I like it anyway". Not super sound technically; a touch soft on the focus, and the burn line to bring out details below the marquee is too obvious. Never the less the subject is great, the framing is dynamic and makes great use of diagonals, and the colors are defty handled. I fugured this for the top 20. I still think it is a solid shot with a few minor mistakes. |
