The marchersby MadMan2kComment: The right half of this image has a lovely warm and soft feel to it. This makes the left half look a bit hard and oversaturated by comparison. I think I prefer the warm left side :) |

The Classic Sunsetby HalldorIngiComment: I think the shot is great, but for me something is not quite right in post-processing. I'm a newbie, so I can't really say what it is. Still, I like the angel and DOF is really nice. |

Remembering The Bayby CuttoothComment: I think this is a good shot, but the vignetting is not doing it for me. It is drawing my attention towards a pint in the image where noting is happening. Also,if it was my image, then I think I would have attempted to lighten up the bedrock in the foreground, so that all of it was in the same nice golden color. |

Alternate Realityby CoryComment: Your processing has transformed this "not so interesting" capture into a quite interesting image :) |

The end of an excellent dayby markwileyComment: I really like the colours in this image. Quite often I find that people oversaturate these kind of pictures. Your processing is near perfect in my eyes! |

4th New York Independent Battery - Devil's Den - Gettysburg Battlefieldby glad2badadComment: I didn't vote on this challenge, but I agree with the two issues raised by atupdate/Tim. I'll add one more thing. To me the image looks cluttered, in lack of better words. This is because of everything going on in the hillside. All of the rocks, shrubs and different coloured grass is stealing my attention away from the actual monument. Of course this is not something you can do anything about, but perhaps a different angle might have done the monument more justice? I don't know..I'm still learning :)
Update: Oh..someone beat me to it. Note to self, refresh window before leaving a comment an hour before the initial viewing of the image Message edited by author 2015-05-04 10:10:39. |
