Blossoming radianceby arpitaComment: This looks great, and the water droplets make it just that much better. The flower looks to almost be dripping on my computer screen. It seems a bit dark though to me for some reason. The photo definately meets the challenge well, not too sure the border is necessary, but it doesn't take anything away from this great shot. good work! |

Golden Pastaby Judith PolakoffComment: Looks like a great shot for a manu or something in a restaurant. The lighting seems good and gives the image a unique feel. While it's not quite yellow, I suppose it is well enough to meet the challenge in my eyes.
There doesn't seem to be a unique or center subject for my eyes to come to rest at and seem to continually jump around the image. Good work. |

Yellow To Goldby spreadcomComment: wow interesting. Not sure how you got the candle to do that. My eyes seem to wander around not necessarily focusing on the yellow, maybe I'm just slow and I can't really pick out what the heck is going on...Interesting subject choice, composition is fairly good, and it meets the challenge. |

sliceby cheekymunkyComment: hrmm I like the though -- interesting idea although I'm not 100% sure I know exactly what I'm looking at (is the lemon in the water or out of it). This is a really great idea and obviously relates to the challenge well. That being said, the white is REALLY white almost blown out and pretty much hurts my eyes lol. |

Sour Noteby tyt2000Comment: hrmm...my first thoughts, interesting. My eyes are definately drawn to the yellow lemon and seem to ease into the photo and notice the less-subtle things upon careful examination. Great composition, good saturation and good lighting as well. good job |

Firewaterby Dim7Comment: Looks interesting. Your photo will probably not score all that high because there just isn't enough yellow for the average voter to consider it the impact of the photo. |

Refreshing Twistby KaDiComment: This is a great photo -- I normally don't like dark, 'in-the-shadow' photos like this, but this one works for me.
The only thing that will probably hurt your score is that the yellow lemons are a really dull yellow in color -- if that yellow was boosted, or better lit, I think your entry would get a much higher overall vote. |

Late for work again.by KiwiChrisComment: Nice and simple subject -- the yellow clock on the yellow background works well -- and the light blue base really makes the yellow stand out. Good job and great composition! |

When Life Gives You Lemonsby dipaulkComment: make lemonade! nice shot great composition -- the focus seems a bit soft (although all this yellow so far in the challenge is hurting my eyes) and I'm not 100% sure I'm digging the border. Great composition though, and good use of the shallow DOF to bring out the lemon on the glass. |

By Exampleby soccerdadComment: great idea to bring out the yellow even more. I wish I'd have thought of this -- not sure what he's holding and not sure he even has to be holding anything for this shot to work -- good job! |
