I think this photo is really well thought out for this particular challenge. I don't remember seeing another one like this throughout the whole thing...and that shows me that you have a lot of creativity.
That being said, there would need to be something
out of the ordinary about the photo though to make it really stand up. I think if you looked up 'color theory' and maybe read into that a little bit, possibly that could create a different impact to the viewer.
Compositionally, the photo is decent...probably like a 5 out of 10. And when I say compositionally, I mean the composition of the whole scene including subject placement and lighting...because lighting is an important part of composition. I think more lighting from the top would really bring a new dimension to the photo -- that is, bring out the magnifying glass from being just a shadowey object that just so happens to be a magnifying glass to actually being part of the scene.

Anyway, good work on the photo, and like I said, you have a great eye for this type of thing...keep shooting!
