Playgroundby posthumousComment: Nice spooky mood, but I'm losing minor detail in the vignette against the light framing of the site. Could use a little less contrast. Background houses/condos take away from the isolation I'd like to see in a shot like this. |

Last Journeyby namComment: Interesting enough photograph but I'm having a difficult time trying to reconcile it with the challenge description and guidelines. |

Into the Deepby HalldorIngiComment: Just because I need to say it, right at the end of my voting I came back and bumped this up by a point. Had I not we would have tied for 5th. Wanted you to know that. ;)

Banana Breadby grahamgatorComment: Thanks for the comment, Mary Ann. This was in my top 2. It was everything I thought a Window Light image should be, not to mention it immediately called to mind my grandmother who I grew up with. From the hands to the measuring cup it was a flashback to childhood watching her bake in her kitchen. How this stayed out of the top 10 I'll never know. |

Aloneby marbroComment: In my top 5. Would be top 3 but it feels like it needs just a tiny bit of "pop". I like the subtle feel but I lose the center of the tree. |

Last Light by ecmguyComment: You always insist on shooting something like this when I actually have something doing well in a FS, don't you Rob? ;) |

The Lakeby the_rkpComment: The water and hills are wonderful, but oh, those halos. The haloing almost makes it look like you've substituted a different sky, even though you didn't. Easily fixed. I'm struggling with some of the foreground elements, particularly the center of the bottom edge. I suspect you could have removed them without risking DQ. |

Windowsby GinaRothfelsComment: Nice abstract lines. Perhaps a little shadow-heavy on the upper-left building - I would have liked to see the lines between the window panes a little more clearly. |
