Delugeby JudiComment: I like this but believe it deserved a little more thought in post. In other words, I like that you didn't do too much but wish you'd done more. 6 as is, but I think it could be turned into an 8 or 9. |

Untitledby chaliceComment: Well done, Jeff. Really nice image. I didn't get a chance to vote on these but this deserves to be in the top 5. Congrats. |

Love on a Cloudy Dayby CyrildaComment: All sorts of overprocessing going on here, from blown out yellows to wringing details out of something that really doesn't need the details wrung out of it. Plus you've got a black ring around it that needs to be extended to the ends. No vote, just a gentle reminder to go easy on flowers |

Hot Peppersby KarenNfldComment: Great idea but something like this needs to POP and this just falls flat. Looks like you accidentally blew out the highlights in the pepper and instead of reshooting you tried to fix it. I applaud you for not oversaturating, and the flame lettering is really well done. Top half gets a 7, bottom half a 5. |

Wafflingby snsComment: Really clean composite but just a little too disjoint for me to feel either real or convincingly surreal. Technically excellent in the assembly, but it feels like everything got it's own area and outside of shadows no two objects occupy a shared space - so it looks exactly like a composite. Great effort, just needs to come together differently. Can't reward it but don't want to kick it, so no vote. |

Chocolate Chipby DCrest01Comment: Nicely assembled and processed composite. Nits to pick for next time: 1) if there's motion in some of the droplets then perhaps just a touch of motion blur to at least one of the falling cookies, 2) cookie entry point doesn't match the splash, 3) falling things seldom all fall parallel to the viewing plane, so some variety of angles for the top two falling cookies would make it more convincing, 4) feels too empty - lower the shelf, push in a bit, increase the impact of the action area. |

The Sentinel by grahamgatorComment: Nicely assembled composite. Next step is to get the shadows and highlights consistent. Everything is placed nicely but the cat needs some lighting and contrast adjustments to better match the rest. And don't forget when the books cast a shadow so does the cat. |

Star Trekkingby kirbicComment: Nicely shot and processed. Maybe you could have pulled out a little more of the shadow detail to help define the lines between the hills and water. |
