Strength through Faithby hallswelComment: For some reason we always get a lot of christian symbols in these challenges. I like to vote on a) uniqueness and originality b) good composition c) excellent lighting that makes the image "pop" (I have trouble with this myself) d) good DOF (if appropriate) and e) a crisp, clear image free of tons of noise and compression artifacts. I'm starting to feel the religious and american symbols are not as unique anymore. This one has good composition, but the lighting doesn't really make it pop. I'm not sure what you could do differently with the lighting. It seems like there is a lot of noise and pixelation. I realize I'm only one voter and there are quite a few Christians involved in DP challenge so this image may speak to them more personally. . - 5 |

2 3sby fanfuineComment: This is an absolutely brilliant image. I love just about everything about it. I'm not sure if it meets the challenge description, but I've decided I don't care. This is one of the best images in this bunch. - 9 |

Weak Pier & Windy Weather & Strong Legsby MonaComment: I absolutely love this. I have the feeling you may have sharpened the image a bit too much. On my screen, the sharpness is a bit too much. I think you have great rich colours and contrast already and maybe didn't need to sharpen it so much. However, this really stands out as an original and unique submission - 7 |

Seeking Unityby trnqltyComment: Great idea. I was hoping someone would go with meditation for this challenge. well shot! My only suggestion for future challenges is to try to fill up as many of the 640 x 480 pixels you're allowed to use. You may find looking in past challenges that smaller images rarely do well. Good luck! |

battle of extra strength deodorantsby unikornComment: This image is heavily pixelated. There is a lot of image noise. I'm wondering if you need to try something different with lighting. It looks like you shot this in a dark place. Maybe next time you could try shooting outside, but with an all-white or all-black background (even construction paper would work or a sheet) THe idea is good though and it made me laugh. - 5. |

"Inner Strength"by tfarrell23Comment: This would have been a good image if you could really see the New Testament - maybe if it was red or something. The jeans are very well exposed and the lighting seems good for everything but the New Testament. I'm not a Christian but I do understand that some people get strength from a book so the concept is very good. - 5 |

American Valuesby photomComment: There seems to be a lot of Americana in this challenge. I guess people from other countries could say their country symbols are strong as well. This concept is a good idea for a photo, but it's been done quite a bit in other challenges (the eye drops). My only suggestion would be that the drops in this particular image have very jagged edges. I'm not sure how you'd rectify that. It's a good idea, but just not very original to me. - 5 |

Golden Tranquilityby LtHousLadyComment: I am absolutely SHOCKED this didn't get a ribbon (although the ones that did receive a ribbon were very good as well). It was my absolute favorite in the last few challenges. |
