The Basicsby jodiecostonComment: Strong quality of composition here == minor point - finger print on lower edge detracts, also I'd like to see more contrast between subject and background. |

Abstract Jalapenoby MJENNIComment: LIke your creative take on the theme. Colors are interesting and the abstract quality make the shot for me. Only negative is your border - something about the while part detacts from the white in the shot. |

Where You Can Hear Yourself Think by dirtkahunaComment: A lot to like about this shot, simple, single subject partially blocking the muted sun. Tones add to the mood, border is nice (perhaps a bit too fancy for the shot?) To make this fine shot a bit better I'd like to see what the tree would look like out of dead center and with more negative space (widening the overall frame so the tree stays the same size - if that makes sense) |

No Note & Patience...by tpoultonComment: Not sure I understand your title. The image is engagingly empty and evokes a sense of silence in the absence of notes. The metal rings are a nice element. The placement of the G clef and meter in the frame is perfects (though I don't know why it's not on the "top" lines?) Your unique take on the theme got you "extra credit" ;) |

Silence like a graveyardby agwrightComment: nicely composed and the pov helps keep me interested in the elements of your composition. The border detracts here (perhaps simple black and/or more narrow?) I like the stones in the shadows on the right - they balance the lit church somehow. |
