Lovely portrait - the veil covering (but not quite) the subject's face really work. Minor point - the backdrop seems to clash with the wonderful tones of the scarf and shirt (orange is a tough color to match) The black part of the frame could be a bit thinner as it competes with the subject vs. compliemnt.

really like your photo - you have an eye for creating a pleasing composition (can't say the same for your border - too wide and the color drains life from your shot vs. a darker color that helps the colors pop)

Reminds me of the color lesson on complimentary colors (although in that case the shadow should be blue!) Creative take on the theme, well set up.
