Stray cat havenby parrotheadComment: Love the lighting in this..it really brings out the sleekness of the black fur...and those yellow eyes...wow.
The background makes a great contrast for the subject.
Nicely done. |

O Trapicheby BudComment: Nice to see the boardwalk has been finished off!
Works just as well as the "vanishing point" entry..in fact I like this softer approach slightly more.
Assuming this is yours Bud?

My Little Piece Of Heavenby TommyMoe21Comment: I always find reflections difficult to present compositionally.
Do you concentrate on the reflection or the reality in a "Rule of Thirds" presentation or go for symmetry with a middle split?
No matter which you choose, you will lose out on something.
I think you have chosen well here with the Heron occupying it`s optimum position in a rule of thirds composition.
Clean and sharp, good contrast and very well captured.
Good luck. |

A Moment in Timeby elsapoComment: From experience, I would think you will get a lot of admirers and a few detractors for the "painterly" style of this image. The technique certainly divides voters.
I love it, the variety&gradation of colours in the sky is quite breathtaking. |
