The Sailorby heidaComment: Powerful image ..I like the way the subject has shielded the sun but allowed the rays to show through......fantastic sky also.
My only minor quibble is the slightly plastic appearance of the sea. (neat image ?)
The horizon line appears to drop from left to right but this can often be an optical illusion caused by the contours of the coastline...either way it doesn`t spoil this excellent image for me.
Well done |

Away from it Allby elsapoComment: This works well in b/w as it helps to isolate the subject from the background.
You have a nice tonal range in the image as well. |

Surrounded By My Friendsby drgsoellComment: Personally, I like partial desat shots but there are many who will score it down because they reckon it has taken the attention away from the subject.I think it does quite the opposite.
I hope that doesn`t happen to you..good luck |

The Freshest Juiceby bruskiComment: Fabulous..the lighting and the colour are excellent and that little reflection on the bottom just tops it off.

Purple Explosionby moodvilleComment: Like the way the colour drops away into the dark centre and a nice uncluttered background adds impact. |

The Arrivalby moviemanComment: The dark background certainly makes the subject stand out as if in a spotlight.
Well done |

Here's looking at you, kid!by dsa157Comment: Hope there`s nobody who suffers from arachnophobia on the site as they`ll have a seizure after this one pops up on the screen.

The Early Bird !by Dim7Comment: Always interested in the bird shots..this looks like our Blackbird (which I think is called a Robin in America ??).
Well centred but unfortunately the sharpness is missing..possibly because of digital zoom being used ??. Good capture though. |
