MJO_1938by MattOComment: You're a pro, and it shows. I for one would have messed up the lighting on het glasses, and be left with a horrible shadow on her right cheek. But you get it all sorted out, and can conentrate on her expression and the right moment. Good job. |

Walkiesby AbraComment: Great textbook example of a hairlight, and how that nicely separates the subject from the background. Like the leading lines, nicely fitting the subject(s). |

Kidnapper v2 (PAW 5/52)by HarveyGComment: I also think the unedited version is better in this case. It avoids the halo around the hawk. Heavy processing puts me off, but that's my opinion and not everyone is so puristic.
The story is a good one, the picture less so. |

04 - Sleeping Dog Islandby ursulaComment: Nice contrast between the sharp lines in the bubble, and the bokeh background. The colors bring it all nicely together. Your careful framing adds interest. |

Emergingby ElaineComment: Beautiful lines, nicely framed. A secret treasure, about to emerge, well guarded by the stronger leaves. |

4 - Baby Pineconeby colorcarnivalComment: Good composition with the branches Creating tension in the frame, and the pinecone almost perfectly on the rule of thirds. |

5 - Tethered to his Workby tvsometimeComment: Nicely framed, and well captured. Shoes, coat, hairdo, gloves and background all look very old fashioned. Cell phone betrays him as a 21st century citizen. |
